Home Feed
After you log in, the home screen is the first thing you see.
It shows your team's, your private, your bookmarked, and Memoreru's public content,
laid out as cards stacked from top to bottom.
What Appears on the Home Screen
In the middle of the screen, content is shown as a vertical stack of "cards."
A single card usually shows:
- The title of the content
- An icon for its type (page, table, slide, etc.)
- The author's avatar and name
- When it was posted ("3 minutes ago," "2 days ago," and so on)
- The number of likes and comments
Click anywhere on a card to open that content's detail page.
Switching the Scope (Tabs)
There are tabs at the top of the screen. Choosing a tab changes which content is shown.
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Public | Public content from anyone using Memoreru |
| Team | Content shared within a team you belong to |
| Private | Your own content, visible only to you |
| Bookmarks | Content you have bookmarked |
The tab you were on last is remembered, so coming back to the home screen from another page keeps you on the same tab.
If You Belong to Multiple Teams
If you are a member of more than one team, you can switch between teams from inside the "Team" tab.
- The names of the teams you belong to appear near the top of the "Team" tab
- Click another team's name to switch the view to that team's content
- The team you switch to is remembered, so the next time you open the "Team" tab the same team is shown
Scrolling Down for More
As you scroll down, more content loads automatically. You don't need to click any button.
When you reach the bottom, a message lets you know there is nothing more to show.
Changing the Order
Near the tabs, there is a menu for choosing the order. You can pick options such as "Newest," "Popular," or "Random."
Picking a different order rearranges the cards accordingly.
When you pick "Random," the order stays stable while you scroll, so cards do not jump around. Reload the page to get a different random order.
Switching the View Mode
The home screen also lets you change how content is grouped, not just the order.
Use the view mode menu near the top of the screen to choose a different way of looking at the same content.
- Recommended: The standard vertical stack of cards in newest-first order
- By category: Content grouped by category
- Timeline: Content grouped by the day it was posted
- Map: Content with a location attached, grouped by place
- People: Content grouped by who posted it
Changing the view mode keeps the current tab (Public / Team / etc.) the same.
Narrowing by Category
Near the order menu, there is also a category picker.
Pick a category you are interested in — such as "Diary," "Budget," or "Learning" — and only content tagged with that category is shown.
Pick "All" to clear the filter.
When You Come Back from Another Page
If you click a card to read the details, then return to the home screen using your browser's back button or the logo in the header,
roughly the same scroll position is preserved.
The tab you were on and the order you chose are also kept.
If a long time has passed before you reopen the home screen, the view refreshes with newly added content at the top.
When There's Nothing to Show
If a tab has no content that matches yet, a message appears in place of the cards.
- Private tab is empty: you haven't created any content yet.
Try creating your first piece using the + button at the top right of the screen - Team tab is empty: once someone in your team starts sharing, content will appear here
- Bookmarks tab is empty: open content you find interesting and tap "Bookmark" to collect it here
