Overview
Learn how to set content visibility to share information with your team members.
Visibility Levels
Memoreru supports three visibility levels.
1. Private
Only you can access the content.
Use for: Personal notes, drafts, personal task management
2. Team
All members of your team can access the content.
Use for: Project management, team knowledge, meeting notes, shared data
3. Public
All users can access the content. Also visible to search engines.
Use for: Blog posts, public reports, knowledge sharing, portfolios
Setting Visibility
When Creating Content
In the content creation flow, select Private, Team, or Public at the publish settings step. When selecting Team, choose which team to share with.
Changing Existing Content
Edit the content and change the visibility setting.
Access Permissions

Editing: The content creator can always edit their content. For team content, team members with the writer role can also edit it.
Best Practices
Share with minimum necessary scope:
- Create as Private first
- Review the content
- Change to Team if needed
- Only use Public for external sharing
Security considerations:
- Don't publish sensitive data as Public
- Minimize sharing of personal information
- Never include passwords or API keys in content

Q1. Is it safe to change from Private to Public?
A: Review your content carefully before changing. Ensure it contains no sensitive or personal information.
Q2. Can I share Team content with another team?
A: Each piece of content has one visibility setting. To share with another team, change to Public or duplicate the content.
