Tenant & Organization Management
Tenant & Organization Management
In Memoreru, organizations are managed through tenants.
:::info
Tenant management and organization (department) management are available on the Business plan.
:::
What is a Tenant?
A tenant is the organizational unit in Memoreru. All users belong to a shared tenant. On the Business plan, you can create independent dedicated tenants.
Shared vs Dedicated Tenants
| Shared Tenant | Dedicated Tenant | |
|---|---|---|
| Available to | All users | Business plan only |
| Data | Shared environment | Completely isolated |
| Management | Personal settings only | Full tenant configuration |
| Limit | - | Up to 3 tenants per account |
Switching Between Accounts
If you use multiple workspaces (tenants) or accounts—for example, one for work and one for personal use—you can switch between accounts that are signed in on the same device.
- Open the user menu at the top of the screen.
- Click the switch button to the right of your name.
- Select the account you want to use from the dialog.
Email addresses are shown in the list, so you can tell apart accounts with similar names. You do not need to enter your password again when switching accounts.
You can register up to five accounts on one device.
Choosing Which Account to Log Out
From the user menu, you can choose between two log-out options:
- Log out from this account — Logs out only the currently selected account.
- Log out from all accounts — Logs out all accounts signed in on this device.
Creating a Dedicated Tenant
- Open "Tenant Management" in the admin panel
- Click "Create tenant"
- Enter a tenant name and slug (URL identifier)
- Click "Create"
The user who creates the tenant is automatically registered as its owner.
Changing Tenant Settings
Open the tenant's detail page and click "Edit" to change:
- Tenant name
- Slug (URL identifier)
- Description
You can change the slug later, but doing so also changes the tenant's URL.
The logo image and service name are set separately, from the branding card on the detail page's "Basic" tab.
Checking Usage
The "Basic" tab on the detail page shows a card with content count, storage, member count, and AI usage against your plan limit. Use it to see how close you are to the plan limit.
Audit Logs
On the "Basic" tab, you can turn audit logging on or off to record content creation, updates, and deletions. Recorded history can be viewed from "Audit Logs" in the admin panel.
Organization (Department) Management
On the Business plan, you can build hierarchical org structures within a tenant.
Organization Hierarchy Example
