Tenant & Organization Management

In Memoreru, organizations are managed through tenants.

:::info
Tenant management and organization (department) management are available on the Business plan.
:::

What is a Tenant?

A tenant is the organizational unit in Memoreru. All users belong to a shared tenant. On the Business plan, you can create independent dedicated tenants.

Creating a Dedicated Tenant

  1. Open "Tenant Management" in the admin panel
  2. Click "Create tenant"
  3. Enter a tenant name and slug (URL identifier)
  4. Click "Create"

The creator is automatically registered as the owner.

Changing Tenant Settings

Open the tenant's detail page and click "Edit" to change:

  • Tenant name
  • Slug (URL identifier)
  • Description

You can change the slug later, but doing so also changes the tenant's URL.

The logo image and service name are set separately, from the branding card on the detail page's "Basic" tab.

Checking Usage

The "Basic" tab on the detail page shows a card with content count, storage, member count, and AI token usage against your plan limits. Use it to see how close you are to the plan limit.

Audit Logs

On the "Basic" tab, you can turn audit logging on or off to record content creation, updates, and deletions. Recorded history can be viewed from "Audit Logs" in the admin panel.

Organization (Department) Management

On the Business plan, you can build hierarchical org structures within a tenant.

Organization Hierarchy Example

Company ├── Sales Department │ ├── Sales Team 1 │ └── Sales Team 2 ├── Engineering │ ├── Frontend Team │ └── Backend Team └── Administration

Configuration Options

  • Department name and code: Identification information
  • Parent department: Specify parent to build hierarchy (up to 10 levels)

Member Assignment

  • Assign users to departments
  • Primary and concurrent roles: One person can belong to multiple departments
  • Set position titles (Director, Manager, Team Lead, etc.)
