Overview

Manage your current plan, upgrade or downgrade, and handle cancellation from the subscription settings.


Accessing Subscription Settings

User icon (top right) > "Settings" > "Plan & Billing" tab


Checking Your Current Plan

You can view:

  • Current plan name
  • Monthly price
  • Next billing date
  • Usage status (content counts, storage usage, etc.)

Usage limits approaching their caps will show a warning indicator.


Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Open the "Plan & Billing" tab
  2. Click "Change Plan"
  3. Select the plan to upgrade to
  4. Review plan details and pricing
  5. Enter payment information (first time only)
  6. Confirm to apply the upgrade

Notes:

  • New plan features are available immediately
  • Usage limits are expanded immediately
  • Prorated charges apply for the remaining billing period

Downgrading Your Plan

  1. Open the "Plan & Billing" tab
  2. Click "Change Plan"
  3. Select the plan to downgrade to
  4. Review the warning messages
  5. Confirm — the downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period

Notes:

  • Your current plan continues until the billing period ends
  • If content exceeds new plan limits, existing content is preserved but new creation is blocked
  • If storage exceeds new limits, new uploads are blocked
  • Business plan users cannot downgrade self-service. Please contact support to request a downgrade.

Cancelling Your Subscription

  1. Open the "Plan & Billing" tab
  2. Click "Cancel subscription"
  3. Review the notice
  4. Click "Confirm cancellation"

Notes:

  • Your paid plan continues until the billing period ends
  • You'll automatically switch to the Free plan on the next billing date
  • Your content is not deleted (available within Free plan limits)
  • You can undo the cancellation before the billing period ends

Managing Payment Methods

Payment method changes are handled through the Stripe customer portal. Access it from the "Manage payment method" link in the "Plan & Billing" tab.

Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express


FAQ

Q1. Can I change plans at any time?

A: Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing date.

Q2. Will my data be deleted if I cancel?

A: No. Your data is preserved. You'll switch to the Free plan and can continue using Memoreru within its limits.

Q3. What happens if my card payment fails?

A: You'll receive an email notification. Some features may be restricted until you update your payment method.
